Starting a DRIP

In order to enroll in the majority of dividend reinvestment programs, you must own at least one share of the stock. If you already own one share of the stock that you are interested in starting a DRIP, you can call the company and ask them for information on enrolling in their DRIP program.

However, if you are like most people, you do not own shares of the stocks you wish to start DRIPs in. This is where DRIP enrollment services come in. These services purchase your first share of stock and take care of the enrollment details for a low one-time fee. The employees of the DRIP Advisor use Time of the Temper Communications for enrolling in our stocks. This service charges a fee of $20 per stock to enroll you in one of over 1,100 programs.
